help: cholesterol is a delicious, naturally flavoured, ready-to-eat food supplement containing Plant Sterols (or an alternative description is Phytosterols) to help you maintain normal cholesterol levels for a healthy heart, reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.

How can Plant Sterols help me maintain healthy blood cholesterol?

You'll probably be familiar with plant sterols as they are now routinely added to spreads and yogurt drinks. Plant sterols are plant compounds with a similar chemical structure to cholesterol and are known to reduce the absorption of cholesterol in the human body. They are present in vegetable oils, nuts, seeds and grains.

However, to activate the cholesterol lowering effect, a person needs to consume at least 8g of plant sterols daily. Dependent upon your daily intake of plant sterols from other food sources, this equates to one to two help: cholesterol gel sticks per day.

What scientific evidence exists to prove its effectiveness?

How many sachets of help: cholesterol can I eat every day?

Dependent upon whether you are already consuming foods containing plant sterols, we suggest you limit your daily intake to 1 – 2 gel sachets per day. Each 20g sachet contains 0.8g of plant sterol.

What other ingredients are in help: cholesterol?

Oligofructose which is a natural source of fibre extracted from the chicory root.

Does help: cholesterol contain 100% natural ingredients?

All the ingredients are natural - but not all are in the product to deliver the specific cholesterol benefit
