I’m
Jules Birch, founder of Works with Water Nutraceuticals, and I’m passionate
about helping people take care of themselves.
With today’s pace of life, this has never been more
important.
The formulations in our nutraceuticals range are easy to
use and each one contains natural ingredients scientifically proven to make
a significant difference to people’s health.
I founded the business in 2006 and we were the first company
in the UK’s to develop a range of 100% natural soluble food supplements
containing ingredients that are clinically proven to have a direct impact
on health problems such as blood pressure, acne and cholesterol.
The term ‘nutraceuticals’ is relatively new
and defines products that contain targeted ingredients considered to provide
specific medicinal and health benefits.
We only formulate with functional ingredients that have
solid, human-trialled science to support specific health claims, and we
are committed to developing products in which the consumer can have complete
confidence in their proven effectiveness.
We are very fortunate to have a development and market expansion
partnership with global ingredients specialists DKSH. Their global expertise
and presence allows Works with Water to develop nutritional products that
are approved for use throughout Europe, US and Asia, critical in respect
of the EU Health and Nutrition Claims Regulations.
In 2007, my good fortune extended into finance as I received
significant investment from the Walker Trust, a private investment fund
established by the late steel magnate Jack Walker. Among its many investments,
it owns premier football club Blackburn Rovers and FlyBe Airlines.
Despite the current economical difficulties we are all facing,
I remain strong in my determination to bring efficacious and affordable
products to market that deliver real health benefits. With such strong technical
and financial support, my business is now looking to develop further products
for both the UK and export markets, with expansion plans in place for the
second half of 2011.
